An Email to my fellow HopeKidders...

Hi dear fellow OLs and TLs,

Just want to share a very encouraging piece of news tt I heard from this bro from NTU ministry. He's Alvin. He has two younger twin bros, Samuel and Matthew, who were in HopeKids until recently, when they moved overseas.

He told me that they normally come back from HopeKids services saying it's ok. Sometimes they don't look fwd to going. But there are times they come back and tell Alvin that they are v happy, because they won some prizes for memorizing Bible verses. It might be a very little
thing, but it means a lot to them and it makes their day!

But even more encouraging is that when they correctly memorise and get rewarded for some Bible verses, they keep the verses in memory, even the longer ones. And Alvin told me that their mum who is not a Christian had told them that there is no God. But you know what? The two kids told their mum that "Teacher Hong Teck said there is a God! It's just that we cannot see Him!"

Wow. Was very encouraged! Didn't know that even "tiny" things like Memory Verse and rewarding with gifts and points can make such a big impact, especially with regards to sowing God's word into their hearts and minds. We are sowing and immunizing their minds against untruths that the world tried to teach them.

Dear brothers and sisters, let's give ourselves fully to the work of the Lord, no matter how insignificant our roles might seem, because we know that our labour in the Lord is not in vain. Amen? :))) we are, like John the Baptist, sowers and reapers making ready a people prepared for the Lord! Let's keep on keeping on the good work! :)

Matthew 11
25 At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and
earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned,
and revealed them to little children.

26 Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.

Thanks God so much for all of you who faithfully help in the weekly work of preparing, presenting, teaching, preaching and helping the kids memorize the unsearchable riches of Christ and His Word... Just one verse can transform an entire life...and therefore an entire
generation and maybe even an entire nation and who knows? Maybe the entire world. :)

Joyfully yours in Christ,
Yeu Ann
