Consecration's Fire

He fingered the keyboard tensely, lost in thought. Many days had passed. Days of sitting quietly in front of the computer, while listening to the rushing torrent outside. December weather arriving in November.

"Cultural Mandate". "Relevance".

These words rolled back and forth wordlessly, like the door in his room that swung on its hinges to and fro.

To and fro. To and fro. To and fro.

He glanced at his desk. Billy Graham's determined countenance looked up heavenward from a paperback. "Billy Graham: His Life And Influence", the dog-eared cover whispered back to him.



Deeper and deeper into thought, he went to some blogs, and re-read their entries on relevance. And he thought about Eric Liddell, William Carey, Billy Graham... and his own brothers and sisters' life examples.
