What is encouragement?

Encouragement - literally, give courage to the other person.





- the expression of approval and support



- the act of giving hope or support to someone



- the feeling of being encouraged

Romans 15:4

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.




Conclusion:

Encouragement is anything that causes the other person to have hope that all is not lost, and/or courage to do what he/she must do.
